Our regular fine jewellery sales offer a selection of antique and modern rings, necklaces and bracelets. You can expect to find precious stones like rubies, sapphires, diamonds and opals in our catalogues, set by noted makers like Cartier, Tiffany and Peter Carl Fabergé.

The work of George Jensen and contemporary Scandinavian jewellers like Bjorn Weckstrom and Anna-Greta Eker are a particular area of expertise for the RWBA Jewellery department. Design-led mid-century earrings and brooches with organic and abstract forms sell well at auction as buyers seek out unique but wearable pieces.

Our specialists are also interested in Georgian and Victoria jewellery, including mourning lockets, as well as Arts and Crafts pieces from British designers like Arthur and Georgie Gaskin, George Edward Hunt, and Archibald Knox.

Historic jewellery can be challenging to value and authenticate. That’s why the RWB jewellery team places vital importance on identification, testing and research, going beyond the hallmark to uncover personal stories tied to makers and owners.
