Some highlights from 2024

RWB Auctions is pleased to announce a bumper first year of trading.

Steve Bucknell, General Manager, has been crunching the numbers, and the highlights are:

  • 26 auctions held
  • Over 8,500 lots sold
  • Total hammer in excess of £2m
  • Nearly 5,500 seller and buyer clients
  • £10,000 hammer price barrier beaten multiple times
  • BBC's Bargain Hunt visited twice to film 8 episodes

Commenting on 2024, Steve Bucknell said 'We have to keep reminding ourselves that although we held our first auction less than 12 months ago, some long-established auction houses would dearly love to have this level of results.

Head Auctioneer Gareth Wasp added, 'We have already established ourselves as an auction house offering great standards of service to both sellers and buyers, and I am sure 2025 will see us building our reputation as a saleroom of choice in the region.'

Steve concluded by saying, 'I would like to thank all of our clients, both sellers and buyers, for placing their trust in us over the last 12 months. Our team looks forward to working with them and with new clients in the years to come.'

The latest episode of Bargain Hunt with RWB Auctions aired on 21 October 2024, and four more episodes will air in 2025.

What is coming soon?

The RWB Auctions team is looking forward to an exciting calendar of sales, with the first offline sale taking place on Wednesday, 15 January, and our first Antiques and Interiors Sale of 2025 on Wednesday, 29 January.
